Behind the Scenes of Moms Who Code
Hiya! I’m Taylor, the mom behind Moms Who Code. At the time of starting this blog, my daughter was just 3.5 months old, and life has been a mixture of diaper changes, sleepless nights, and squeezing in moments to code. I’m a Web Designer/Developer who’s passionate about tech and motherhood, and I created this space to bring those two worlds together. 🤱🏾👩🏾💻
When I first started exploring resources for moms in tech, I noticed a gap—there wasn’t enough representation or support for mothers juggling coding and parenting. That’s where this blog comes in. Moms Who Code is for every mom on her tech journey, whether you’re a first-time mom navigating this new chapter, expecting and planning for the future, or a seasoned parent looking to upskill or switch careers.
Full Disclosure: I do use AI to help with some content creation. I want to be transparent about this so you have full knowledge about some of the material you’re reading here.
I think every working mom probably feels the same thing. You go through big chunks of time where you’re just thinking, ‘This is impossible—oh, this is impossible.’ And then you just keep going and keep going, and you sort of do the impossible.
